Dr. Angie V. Sanchez

Dr. Angie V. Sanchez is a physician-scientist specializing in public health with a strong commitment to improving the health, well-being, and advancement of underserved communities. She earned her medical degree in 2012 from Fundación Universitaria San Martín in Cali, Colombia, her hometown, and holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Massachusetts.

With a diverse background that spans outpatient care, molecular disease research, and community health management, Dr. Sanchez’s work focuses on the intersection of community engagement and public health research. Her research aims to address and reduce health and research disparities by developing innovative strategies tailored to the unique needs of vulnerable populations. Driven by her passion for community health, Dr. Sanchez is dedicated to advancing equitable healthcare and improving the quality of life for underserved communities through evidence-based and community-centered approaches.
