Peace Ossom
Peace Ossom, MLS, MS is Director of Research Data Services at Massachusetts Institute of Technology Libraries, leading the Data & Specialized Services department. She has a Master of Library Science and a Master of Science in Health Studies from Texas Woman’s University, and her expertise includes research data services, scholarly communications, and health sciences information literacy. She has experience in various roles and is an active researcher, educator, and contributor to health evidence through various partnerships. In recognition of her research, Peace received the 2021 Texas Hallmark Alumni Award as well as the Medical Library Association’s 2020 Ida and George Eliot Prize, which recognizes her article as the most effective in furthering medical librarianship.
